01 // WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing you type into this site is stored on our servers, because there is no server-side storage to put it in. The racquet, string, and comparison data is compiled into the site itself, and every filter, sort, and comparison you run happens in your own browser.
The contact form is the same story: it does not submit anywhere. It composes a pre-filled draft and hands it to your own email application. Nothing reaches us until you press send there, and at that point we receive exactly what an ordinary email would give us — your address and your message. We keep those emails so we can reply, and we don't use them for anything else.
Like effectively every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. These are generated automatically, used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are not linked to any identity.
02 // ADVERTISING COOKIES
This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, which means Google and other third-party vendors serve the ads you see here rather than us.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Opting out does not remove ads — it means the ones you see are no longer tailored to you. Blocking cookies in your browser settings works too, and nothing on this site breaks if you do.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice later through the same prompt.
03 // LINKS TO OTHER SITES
The blog is a curated reading list — the summaries are ours, but every entry links out to an article published elsewhere. Once you follow a link off RacquetGeek, this policy no longer applies. We have no control over what those sites collect.
04 // CHANGES AND CONTACT
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Questions about any of the above, or a request to delete an email you've sent us, go to daniel20020228@gmail.com — or through the contact page.
